What they do is, pile about 14 layers of fabric on the table. Then, they cut with these things that look like cookie cutters. The thing is, that it cuts with a force equal to the weight of a couple of elephants!!

Next, the pieces go to the people who sew them into body parts.

The pieces are sewn inside out, so next they go to someone who turns them right side out. Then the pieces go to the stuffing room. They wouldn't take us there. They said it was too noisy. Then the stuffed parts come back to this room to be assembled into a bear.

They didn't mention how the faces are done. They also didn't show where the bears get dressed. They do have many, many outfits you can choose from. However, if you want something they don't have, you can give a special order, and they will make it for you. Here our guide shows us some of the special order bears.

Once the bears are done they are shipped to their new homes from here, the shipping area.

Now, if your bear gets hurt, you can send him/her back here to the bear hospital and their bear doctors will fix him/her up for you. Here are some bears that are recovering from their injuries.

If your bear is too badly hurt and can not recover, they will send you new bear.

For such a small factory, they certainly do turn out a lot of bears.

Of course you can't leave without looking around the gift shop. Mom got a bear for us and some presents for friends.

This was a fun place to visit.
