Christmas Preparations

This Hare-iette at the keyboard again.
Mom got me this neat outfit for the Christmas season. I love it because I don't have to save it for a special occasion, or anything. I can wear it as much as I want, as long as it's clean, of course.

This is my new friend, Red. He just moved into the neighborhood.

Red and I like to go out and play in the woods. It looks like it might be hard getting out there today. We have to go out. It's very important, but it's a secret .....sssshhhhh.

There's also a lot of work to do around the house to get ready for Christmas.

All I heard was:
"Furby! Get outta there!
"Hare-ieeeette, get your kitten!

or
"Furby!!! Don't DO that!!!"
Hare-ieeeeeette, do something with that cat!!!!!"

or
"Furby!!! Get outta there!!!"
"Hare-ieeeeette, get this cat outta here!!!"

or
"Furby!! Get offa there!"
"Hare-ieeeeeette, get your kitten."
I wanted to say, "Mom, that cabinet is 7 feet high. I'm 30 inches tall. What do you expect me to do?" But, seeing the mood Mom and Grandma were in, I decided to keep quiet.

Boy, that kitten wears me out! I did get to help decorate the tree, though.

And then, Mom boosted me all the way up to the top so I could put up the angel. All done! The tree is beautiful!!

Sssshh. This is Hare-iette's Mom typing. Poor Hare-iette was just exhausted. She curled up on the couch and fell fast asleep. I'll carry her in to bed now.
