The next morning was beautiful! Of course the dining room had bears all over too......on the place mats, salt shakers, mugs...everywhere. Our hostess, Georgette, said we could have whatever we wanted for breakfast. I picked pancakes with real Vermont maple syrup. Yummy!! It was such a nice day we went out to look around. What a beautiful old house the Inn is. How do we look as bears? Finally a moose!! If you look closely at the 3rd floor windows, you can see all the bears looking out all the windows. We went back into the Inn and into the shop. Mom and Aunt Barb were in shock. The shop is 4 rooms at the back of the Inn and they are filled floor to ceiling with bears and bear stuff. I had a great time in the shop. Most of the bears are really friendly and they had a lot of great activities going on. What a shame that the humans can't hear them. This bear told me all about life in the Vermont woods. I was just in time for story hour with this bear. He tells stories for all the bears and other critters. He gathers quite a crowd but since I was a guest, he let me sit right on his lap. Click for more of our adventure.
